last, but not least, i want to send you a big hand to all of you who have helped me along my journey. i have a lot to be thankful for. most of all, i'm thankful for my family - my wife and daughters, the friends i've made along the way and the incredible musicians who surround me.
our new york city apartment was sparse, but functional and well suited to an engaged family. life in new york city was difficult for us, but we learned how to make it work. our new found celebrity status was a source of many interesting, sometimes funny, experiences. we kept our heads up and focused on the work at hand. having landed a job in music, we saw our kids grow up and our dream of raising a family in nyc finally being realized. the years went by, and we moved our family back to pittsburgh. it took some years to find our way back and to re-establish ourselves in pittsburgh. our kids grew older, and i started to teach at pitt. joni and i found our way back into the recording studio and discovered music for movies. this led us to a twenty-year career in film and tv composing music for both tv and film. i wrote music for tv shows and films, including the bill cosby show, barney miller, the original off the wall, the 2nd and 3rd series of happy days, the washington post tribute to america series, the cosby show, and the made-for-tv movie, love is a many splendored thing.
we've been married for forty years and still going strong! our four kids are all grown up and have started their own families. they all know and love the music that has been a part of our lives. our five grandchildren are all great musicians! they are all into baseball, basketball, rock and roll, hockey, and so much more. like their parents, they all love music. joni and i were able to enjoy our kids and grandchildren growing up and we are now able to share that with their kids and grandkids. it's been a great ride. we have loved every minute! 3d9ccd7d82
